SHS Quickstep’s sire, Westpoint Quickfire, is by Grand Prix winner Quick Star who is the sire of Nick Skelton’s ride Big Star who won individual gold at the 2016 Olympics and team gold at the 2012 Olympics.
SHS Quickstep’s dam, Merdina, is a KWPN ster mare who has competed in British Dressage, British Showjumping and British Eventing and is a fantastic all-round mare.
