King of Dreams sire King Leatherdale is a lovely young stallion with 3 expressive paces with lots of cadence and elasticity. His sire Lord Leatherdale is competing at International Small Tour. Lord Leatherdale has proved to cross exceptionally well with daughters of Negro, with that cross producing licensed stallions such as Chippendale, International GP horse Everdale and World Young Horse Champion Glamourdale.
King Leatherdale’s dam Wiegro is graded Elite, Preferent, Sport with the KWPN and has competed up to Z2 level (advanced medium) as well as being the dam of 2 licensed stallions and a mare competing at ZZL level (advanced). She is by Preferent stallion Negro, the KWPN Stallion of the Year 2017, who is of course sire of Olympic Gold Medallist Valegro. Negro has more than 20 offspring at Grand Prix.
Dam of King of Dreams, Born To Dance, is by Bundeschampion Benetton Dream who won his performance test with a mark of 9.5 and achieved a perfect 10 for his walk. Benetton Dream is now competing at International GP and has more than 10 licensed sons. His progeny include double reserve Bundeschampion Bon Couer, Atterupguaards Boticelli who was silver medallist at the Danish Championships and Isabell Werth’s Belantis.
The superb Hanoverian motherline of Born To Dance has produced stallions including Walt Disney, Stolzenberg and Daytona, as well as achieving winnings of over 450,000 euros in sport.
